The Green Bible
aka Land Rover Series II & IIa Repair Operation Manual
If there’s just one book you get, this is probably the one to invest in, I know it’s sort of expensive, but it can really come in handy on those late nights when you can’t remember what goes where.
Restoration reference
Haynes Land Rover Series I, II & III Restoration Manual
Another great reference – this one has real pictures and explains a lot of procedures in more detail then the Green Bible…
Service and repair
Haynes Land Rover Series II, IIA and III 1958-85 Service and Repair Manual
As opposed to the restoration manual above, this one has more in the way of service & repair(obviously) – it was another great help when we were putting it all back together & restoring some individual parts.
This was actually in the back bed of mine when I bought the truck.
